Homemade Laundry Detergent | Pennies Per Load | Recipe Plus Demo

I have been asked so many times for this recipe, so here is a video! This amount lasts me around 5-6 months, and ends up costing literally under .10 per load.

Homemade Powder Laundry Detergent:
-3 cups Super Washing Powder
-3 cups Borax
-1 grated bar of laundry soap (I use Zote)

You can either grate your soap by hand or in a food processor. I use a Ninja to chop up my soap super fine. I then process the grated soap, 1 cup of washing powder, and 1 cup of Borax...then repeat twice, and combine it all into a large container. Use between 2-4 tbsp per load depending on how dirty it is. I add my detergent directly to the clothes before I even turn the water on.

All of these ingredients can be found either online or in stores (usually)
