Beautiful Baby Top With Pant Cutting and Stitching | DIY Very Easy Baby Dress Cutting and Stitching

“Welcome back to my channel! Today, I’m going to show you how to create this adorable and easy baby top with matching pants, perfect for any occasion. This is a beginner-friendly DIY project, so let’s jump right into it!”

[Materials Needed]

1. Blue gingham fabric
2. White ruffle fabric
3. Sewing machine
4. Scissors
5. Measuring tape
6. Pins
7. Elastic for pants
8. A white ribbon for the bow

[Step 1: Measuring and Cutting the Fabric]

• First, measure your baby’s chest and pant length.
• For the top, cut a front and back piece. Make sure to leave some space for seam allowance.
• For the pants, cut two identical pieces with some extra length for adding the ruffle at the bottom.
• Now, cut the white ruffle fabric for both the top hem and pants hem.

[Step 2: Stitching the Top]

• Begin by sewing the shoulder seams of the front and back pieces.
• Attach the ruffle to the bottom of the top by gathering the fabric and sewing it onto the main piece.
• Hem the armholes and neck using a folded stitch.
• Sew the side seams of the top, making sure the edges align neatly.

[Step 3: Adding the Bow]

• Create a white ribbon bow by folding the ribbon into a loop and sewing it at the center.
• Attach the bow to the front center of the top, just above the ruffle.

[Step 4: Stitching the Pants]

• Sew the two pant legs together, starting with the inner seams.
• Attach the ruffle to the bottom of both legs, making sure to evenly distribute the gathers.
• Fold the waistband and insert the elastic, sewing it closed securely.

[Step 5: Final Touches]

• Press the seams for a professional finish.
• Check for any loose threads and trim them.
