Today we will learn how to say in Swiss German: sorry, please, thank you, good morning, bye, see you. Learning Swiss German is like hiking in the mountains. When I go hiking I do not focus too much on reaching the top of the mountain, I try to enjoy the way. I enjoy the views, I enjoy the conversation I have with my friends, I enjoy short breaks and small snacks to keep me going. In other words, I enjoy the process, of course, in the end, I want to reach the summit, but for the way to the top is more important. The same is with learning the language. When you focus too much on reaching A1, A2, or B1 level you might be too rigid and you don't enjoy it anymore. Would you agree with me? When learning Swiss German process is everything... the result is not so important (you will get there anyway:)

Apart from enjoying learning the language you to focus on 3 things: language, motivation, opportunity. I will try to discuss those 3 factors below.

Language, in order to speak Swiss German with me when you have online lessons with me, you need to know German at least at communicative level. In other words, to benefit from my lessons you need to have the language already, that's why I make video lessons for my future students so that they have already reached at least A2 level before they start the lessons with me. If you don't have communicative level I encourage you to wait till you reach that level. Practics every day, expand your vocabulary, watch my videos every day, make notes. You need to practice every day on your language. Once you have a clear vision and clear goals and at the same time enjoy the process you will be more likely to succeed in learning Swiss German with me.

The second very important factor in learning Swiss German with me is motivation. Once you are motivated it is much easier to achieve your goals. All my students are very eager to learn and I must say I am a very lucky teacher to have students like that. It is so much easier once the student is intrinsically motivated to speak Swiss German.

The third factor which is very important in learning Swiss German with me is the opportunity. You need to find and use the opportunity to use the language wherever you are. My videos are the first opportunity to familiarize yourself with my dialect and the way of speaking. Use my videos, listen and repeat aloud. It will be very helpful for your pronunciation and listening skills. Another opportunity might be your Swiss neighbor, radio, television.

Hoje vamos aprender a dizer em alemão suíço: desculpe, por favor, obrigado, bom dia, tchau, até mais. Aprender alemão suíço é como caminhar nas montanhas. Quando vou caminhar não me concentro muito em chegar ao topo da montanha, tento aproveitar o caminho. Quando você se concentra demais em alcançar o nível A1, A2 ou B1, você pode ser muito rígido e não se divertir mais. Você concordaria comigo? Ao aprender o processo alemão suíço é tudo ... o resultado não é tão importante (você vai chegar lá mesmo assim :)

Além de gostar de aprender a língua, concentre-se em 3 coisas: linguagem, motivação, oportunidade. Vou tentar discutir esses três fatores abaixo.

Idioma, a fim de falar alemão suíço comigo quando você tem aulas on-line comigo, você precisa saber alemão pelo menos no nível comunicativo. Em outras palavras, para se beneficiar das minhas aulas, você precisa ter a língua já, por isso, faço aulas em vídeo para meus futuros alunos, para que eles já tenham alcançado pelo menos o nível A2 antes de iniciar as aulas comigo. Se você não tem nível comunicativo, encorajo-o a esperar até chegar a esse nível. Pratique todos os dias, amplie seu vocabulário, assista aos meus vídeos todos os dias, faça anotações. Você precisa praticar todos os dias no seu idioma. Uma vez que você tenha uma visão clara e objetivos claros e, ao mesmo tempo, aproveite o processo, você terá mais chances de aprender alemão suíço comigo.

O segundo fator muito importante para aprender alemão suíço comigo é a motivação. Uma vez motivado, é muito mais fácil atingir seus objetivos. Todos os meus alunos estão muito ansiosos para aprender e devo dizer que sou um professor de muita sorte para ter alunos assim. É muito mais fácil quando o aluno está intrinsecamente motivado para falar alemão suíço.

O terceiro fator que é muito importante para aprender alemão suíço comigo é a oportunidade. Você precisa encontrar e usar a oportunidade de usar o idioma onde quer que esteja.
