White armour still has a reputation for being tricky to paint, which I think is a little undeserved. By starting with the other colours on a miniature - just black in this case! - you've got the opportunity to tidy up as you go, then shade how you like. This is just two potential methods, and I've done other Stormtrooper variants in the past as well, so you'll have plenty of choices on what appearance you like!
