Something I'll never see again, and I didn't even know it at the time when witnessing all these events unfold. After capturing photos of a solo Amtrak California in Capitol Corridor scheme shove a solo private car down Jack London Square in Oakland, California, U.S.A. - PHOTOS LINKED BELOW - they made their way onto the track where Amtrak 11, The Coast Starlight, to Los Angeles, California from Seattle, Washington was already on; boarding passengers. While already having two private cars in tow, the Northern Sky Charters dome car no.9003 was to be added as the third Private railcar to the consist. The start of the video shows the yard/move conductor move the coupler to align with the other car for good attachment, then radio in to the engineer on the F59PHI to slowly shove the car to couple the two PV cars together. After a good stretch, the conductor then goes to attach the air hoses. After coupling, F59PHI CDTX 2010 streetrun solo down Jack London Square to the Amtrak's Oakland Yard. Later, Amtrak 11 continued onto Los Angeles with 3 private cars in tow.
