The Startrite H250 M is a horizontal metal bandsaw designed for industrial / workshop use. It is used for cutting circular and rectangular metal stock.
Key Specifications & Features
Cutting Capacity Up to 250 mm diameter (≈ 10″) on round stock.
Blade Speed: variable speed, roughly 50-300 feet per minute (≈ 15-90 m/min) depending on material and setup.
Blade Size: Dimensions approx 10′ 6″ (length) × 1″ width × 0.035″ thickness.
Blade Guides: Carbide blade guides with rollers are fitted to assist with blade tracking / stability.
Feed Mechanism Adjustable pressure, gravity feed. That is, the saw head descends onto the workpiece by gravity, with the rate of feed controlled (pressure).
Coolant / Fluid System: Flood coolant is provided to cool and lubricate the saw blade and work material.
