Ingredients
1 lb (2 1/2 cup) dry chickpeas - soak in hot water for 1 hour, then rinse and set aside.
1 cup/cooking spoon palm oil (or choice of oil)
1/4 cup of palm oil
1 medium onion, chopped (used twice)
1 Tbsp crayfish powder
1 Tbsp curry powder
1 cup of pepper blend
(2 medium red bell pepper, 1 habanero pepper, 1 onion, coarsely blended)
salt to taste
seasoning powder or cubes to taste
2 large carrots, chopped
1 cup of frozen corn (optional)
1 bunch of green onions, chopped
Note:
If using a pressure cooker, add pre-soaked chickpeas with all ingredients EXCLUDING the carrots, corn, and green onions (the last three ingredients), and cook for 40-45mins. Afterward, add the remaining ingredients steam for 10 more minutes.
