Episode 15: The Glorious Gravel - Forest of Dean X. Gravel cycling sportive. Fantastic ride!

Myself and ‪@ForestCyclingAdventures‬ took part in the The Glorious Gravel's Forest of Dean X sportive 2024. I'd been really looking forward to this event, and since it was practically on our doorstep, we couldn't resist. We chose the long option which was a fantastic 82km route covering the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. We cycled many of our favourite tracks and got to try out some new trails too. The whole event was really well organised from start to finish, clearly signposted and with two well stocked feed stops. There was an event photographer who captured some fab shots. The weather was absolutely perfect and we had a really great ride.

Our riding time for the route was 4h 45m. We cycled to and from the ride village which bought our total cycling time up to 5h 20m.
