[Soft Touch Cycle] Ryko SoftGloss MAXX 3 || Concord Gas & Wash

Here is a September 2022 retake of the SoftGloss MAXX 3, at Concord Gas & Wash in Concord MA!

I’ve been here many times before, but only once with the older system. The gas station originally didn’t have a car wash, but it was added on later in the mid-2000’s.

The original wash system was a Belanger Freestyler with red and blue brushes, along with AirCannon dryers. It was the only Freestyler in the area, but it wasn’t the only Belanger system. Acton car wash was (and still is) right down the road from it, and features a late-90’s Belanger tunnel.

The Freestyler remained here up until mid-2020, when it was replaced with this SoftGloss MAXX 3. This was the second MAXX 3 to be installed in Massachusetts, as the first was installed somewhere near Springfield. It originally had the on-board contouring dryer, but due to it not working well and maintenance reasons, they converted it into a high pressure only drop down arm, and SlimLine dryers were installed outside the bay.

The wash shown in this video was the $20 Shine my Ride Soft Touch Wash which included;

*SoftWash
*TriFoam
*Hot Wax (ColorWave)
*RainShield Total Surface Sealant
*Clear Coat
*Rinse
*Dry

Wash Quality: 8/10

Comments: the wash did a nice job! A thought it was quite slow and did leave some spots on the pickup truck. Besides that, this was a good wash.

And yes, I will revisit this soon to do a retake of the touch free cycle.
