How to Clean a Cast Iron Pan (After Use):
✔️ Avoid Soap & Dishwasher – Use warm water and a brush or sponge.
✔️ Scrub Gently – Use a chainmail scrubber or salt paste for stuck-on food.
✔️ Rinse & Dry Immediately – Prevents rust from forming.
✔️ Oil Lightly – Rub a thin layer of oil (vegetable or lard) to maintain seasoning.
✔️ Heat to Dry – Warm the pan on the stove to ensure complete dryness.
How to Restore a Rusty Cast Iron Pan:
1️⃣ Scrub with Steel Wool – Removes rust and old seasoning.
