This trip started on September 16th, 2024! After graduating from college, I decided to buy a one way ticket to Italy and take my time seeing different sights throughout Europe. My travels ended up taking 3 months (I went to 11 countries!) and although most of the time I was exploring alone, I met up with some friends and family along the way! These aren't vlogs with awesome cinematography or cool editing, but they are complete and real recounts of how I spent my time. I hope that they can be even an eensy bit informational to anyone hoping to do the same thing, or just a little entertaining to anyone else who happens to be watching. If anything, they'll serve as fun video diaries for me to look back on! Sooooo yeah, follow along if you'd like...I plan on posting a new video each week!
Hallstatt info:

Super small town. Hotel isn't super nice but it's easy to get to from the train, and right on the water where the boat docks to head to Hallstatt. I recommend heading up to the Skywalk to see the town from above. I didn't go on the salt mine tour, but a lot of people say that's a good activity too.

Perfectly located hotel. Super easy access to all sights and right next to the bus station. Also not a super, super nice hotel, but it does the trick and the location makes up for it. I recommend getting the Salzburg Card. It's $40 and gives you free access to a lot of tourist sites as well as free bus rides. I also highly recommend the Fraulein Maria Bike Tour (Sound of Music bike tour). Honestly, I've never seen the movie, but it was a great way to get an introduction to the city. The Untersberg Cable Car was also super cool to do for some really nice views.

Super cute and nice hotel. Really easy self check-in and it's just a short walk from the train station, bus stop to Neuschwanstein, and the town center. The castle was obviously awesome, I recommend actually going inside too, but you have to buy tickets for that quite a bit ahead of time.
Songs used:
The Great Pumpkin Waltz - Vince Guaraldi
Love - Nancy Adams
The Sound of Music - Original Soundtrack Recording
Champagne and Quail - Henry Mancini & His Orchestra
Please Love Me Forever - Bobby Vinton
I do not own the rights to any of this music
please don't copyright me, or take it down, or silence it pleaaaaase the videos need the songs, they make them so much better!!
Okay the end, thanks for watching :)
