I criticise the council a lot here, not for the fact that we get ground movement, but for its response to it, and lack of contingency planning for events that could be anticipated.

Years of neglect from the Isle of Wight Council, a recent major landslip, lack of a contingency plan to deal with this entirely predictable event.....and now we have a summer of chaos to look forward to in Ventnor and the Undercliff.
