Hi hi everyone! Welcome to the very first episode of PedCel — our new vlog series featuring the adventures of Ped (Alfred) and Cel (Michelle)! ✨
In this video, we’re kicking off our Japan trip with Kyoto Day 1! We flew in through Osaka’s Kansai International Airport and took a ¥2800 bus to Kyoto — pretty convenient, but honestly a bit pricey (there’s probably a cheaper train option we’ll try next time 👀).
Once we arrived, we went straight for lunch and had the most amazing gyukatsu at Kyoto Katsugyu 🥩🔥
Price ranges from ¥2000 to ¥4000+, and it’s SO worth it.
After lunch, we wandered around the iconic 鸭川 (Kamogawa / Ya Chuan), the peaceful river that runs through Kyoto. If you’re visiting, chances are you’ll pass by it while exploring hehe!
To wrap up the day, we had dinner at Sushitetsun Hands down the best sushi we’ve ever had 🍣!!
The vibe was lively, and we even made friends with fellow tourists during the meal!
