Within the depths of the Red Moon, the final confrontation begins. As the Warrior of Darkness and their allies descend into the Lunar Subterrane, they face memories long buried—visions of Golbez’s past as a knight named Durante, and the bitter truth behind his transformation. Once a hero striving to save his people from the chaos of the Contramemoria, he was deceived by the Ascian Igeyorhm, who lured him to slay a servant of Light. That act plunged the Thirteenth into unrelenting Darkness.

Zero, seeing herself reflected in his struggle, reaches out to him. She too once believed she had to walk alone, that salvation required sacrifice. But now she understands the strength born from trust, from bonds forged across worlds. Golbez, however, has surrendered himself to despair. Having created Zeromus using the remnants of an Ascian god and Azdaja’s longing, he intends to destroy the barrier between worlds, bringing all to a twisted “salvation.”

Yet even in his fanaticism, Zero sees the truth: Golbez is still haunted by hope. As they battle in the darkened depths, she confronts not just his power, but his pain—and makes a final offer to walk together, toward a better world.

赤き月の奥深く、最後の決戦が幕を開ける。闇の戦士たちが「月の地下渓谷」へと踏み込む中、彼らの前に現れたのは、かつて「ドゥランテ」と呼ばれた騎士ゴルベーザの記憶だった。混乱の中で同胞を救おうと奔走し、アシエン・イゲオルムの言葉に騙され、光の使徒を討った彼は──世界を永劫の闇に沈めてしまった張本人だった。

ゼロはその過去に、自身の姿を重ねる。孤独を背負い、己だけで全てを救わねばと信じた日々。だが彼女は今、仲間との絆の中にこそ真の強さがあると知っている。ゼロは手を差し伸べるが、ゴルベーザはなお絶望の中にいた。アシエンの残滓とアジュダヤの想いを糧に「ゼロムス」を生み出し、次元の壁を破壊せんとしていたのだ。

それでもゼロは、彼の中に消えぬ希望の残響を感じ取る。かつて拒絶した絆を、今こそ結び直す時──この世界を変えるために。
