Merlin and Morgana AU - One Of A Kind part 5

Fifth part of my Merlin and Morgana story!

PLOT:
On the night of Merlin returning to Camelot, he went to visit Morgana in her chambers. She allowed him to enter her room. Merlin told Morgana that he never wanted to leave her but he had no choice. Morgana knew this and returned with the response that she thought he was killed by Camelot Patrol but that she was glad when she saw him earlier in the day. Merlin passionately kissed Morgana, seeing as they were finally together again.

Once Merlin's visit to Morgana was over, he returned to Gaius's chambers. Gaius felt relieved that Merlin was back home and safe. Merlin apologised to Gaius for running away from Camelot, and taking the Lady Morgana with him. Gaius confessed to Merlin that he must take good care of Morgana, seen as he knew how dangerous revealing her magic is to Uther. Merlin agreed and promised that he wouldn't abandon her again.

The next day, Camelot held a feast for Morgana's safe return to the kingdom. Merlin spotted Morgana walking into the banquet hall dressed like a queen and smiled, feeling happy about the fact that she was his love and how beautiful she was. Arthur, Morgana's brother, spotted Merlin and Morgana flirting with each other across each side of the hall. He suddenly remembered the fact that Merlin was the one who 'kidnapped' Morgana.

Later that day, Arthur had Merlin arrested and took him to the king. Uther sentenced Merlin to death, as it was treason for abducting the king's daughter. Morgana, sitting beside Uther, was shocked about the sentence. Merlin was taken away to the cells and he looked back, perhaps one last time at Morgana. Morgana knew she had to see him one last time.

Later that night, Morgana went to visit Merlin in the cells. Merlin reassured Morgana that he will one day see her again. Morgana felt relieved that he will always love her. She left Merlin alone and went to Gaius's chambers. She walked over to a shelf full of potions and picked up the deadliest poison she could find...
