Children in the Gaza Strip are in the midst of a terrible situation. Many have lost their parents, and their homes and are facing a shortage of basic necessities like water and food. More than 1.8 million people have been internally displaced, half of them are children.
Despite the challenging circumstances, the UNICEF team in the Gaza Strip is working around the clock to provide medical supplies, water, food and warm clothes to children and their families. The needs remain immense, and we desperately need more support to prevent the unfolding humanitarian catastrophe.
