Corn ripended in the fall,
Corn the Pilgrims planted;
Glad were the Pilgrims all,
By the sight enchanted.
Hailing the glorious yield
From their first harvest field,
Thanked they the Lord for all
His mercy had bestowed.

We, like the Pilgrims, too,
Once in Plymouthliving,
Still ev'ry year renew
Their devout Thanksgiving;
Raise now our song of praise
Like that of former days,
Thanking the Lord for all
