This tune is also well known in Norway, and I've sung it numerous times. It's a melody you can waltz to. The funny thing is that the Norwegian words keep eluding me, and I can't remember one word of the text or the title. All I can think of now, when humming the tune, is bread baking.

I suppose this song could be used as an activity song, where we play-act the wheat swaying, the bees buzzing and the butterflies flittering around, as well as swishing and slashing our imaginary scytes. We can make our arms go like wind mills and we can put our ingredients in an imaginary bowl and knead the dough.

The tune also has a strong likeness to "The more we get together" [Jo mere vi er sammen], but with a slightly different rhytm.
