Soyachap Kebabs/Tikki | Without Cornflour or Breadcrumbs | Soybean che vaddi
Vegan Recipe suitable for vegetarians.
Looking for a healthy and crispy kebab/tikki recipe without cornflour or breadcrumbs? Try this delicious Soyachap Kebab made with minimal ingredients, full of flavor, and perfect as a snack, appetizer, or lunchbox treat. This version is gluten-free, protein-rich, and super easy to make!
✅ No cornflour
✅ No breadcrumbs
✅ Crispy outside, soft inside
✅ Ideal for vegans & vegetarians
✨ Ingredients:
1 bowl soyachap : boiled and shredded
2 boiled potatoes (mashed)
1 onion, finely chopped
2-3green chilies
4 garlic cloves and 1/4 ginger piece
Fresh coriander stems and 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1/2 tsp of:
red chilli powder coriander powder turmeric powder pepper powder
Salt to taste
3 tbsp gram flour (besan) as a binder
Oil for shallow frying
✨ Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine shredded soyachap, mashed potatoes, chopped onion, green chilies, and coriander stems masala.
Add spices and salt.
Mix in besan to bind the mixture (no need for cornflour or breadcrumbs!).
Shape the mixture into tikkis or kebabs.
Shallow fry on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot with green mint yoghurt chutney or ketchup!
💡 Tips:
You can air-fry or bake for a healthier version.
Add grated beetroot or carrots for extra nutrition and color.
