I’ve stopped trying to “talk myself out” of hard moments.
What actually steadies me is changing how I speak, not what I say.
When things feel off, I don’t rush to label it or fix it.
I slow the sentence down.
This is uncomfortable.
I don’t understand this yet.
I’m allowed to take this one step at a time.
There’s something sacred about leaving room.
About not forcing clarity before it’s ready.
Prayer doesn’t always arrive as answers.
Sometimes it’s the decision to stay present without panicking.
To speak gently enough that the body doesn’t feel threatened.
To trust that God meets us in the pause, not just the resolution.
You don’t have to rush yourself toward peace.
Sometimes peace begins the moment you stop pushing for it.
