Air Fryer Cantonese Roast Duck Made Easy: 5-Ingredient Recipe!

In this weeks video I'll be walking you through the simplest steps to create a fantastic air fried duck breast with a delicious skin, inspired by our more complex Cantonese Roast Duck recipe from last week in the mei mei kitchen.
Recipe
Marinade:
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1/2 tsp Chinese five spice
Glaze:
2 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp Chinese five spice
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
3 tbsp water
Optional: 1 tablespoon Chinese vinegar.
Instructions
Prepare the Duck: Clean and pat dry the duck thoroughly.
Marinate: Combine the marinade ingredients and rest the duck breasts meat side down into the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, in the refrigerator.
Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 150°C (302°F). Place the marinated duck in the basket, skin side up. and cook for 10-15 minutes.
Glaze Application: While the duck is cooking, mix the glaze ingredients until well combined
-Flip and Glaze: Brush the glaze generously over the duck. Increase the temperature to 200°C (400°F) and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the skin is crispy.
Rest and Serve: Once cooked, remove the duck from the air fryer and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve with your choice of sides and enjoy.
