Serious Leg Day | Strength, Mass, and Pure Work
Today was a no-excuses leg day, built to add size, strength, and grit. We attacked the lower body from multiple angles, focusing on controlled power, progressive overload, and a full range of motion. This wasn’t about just moving weight — it was about earning every rep.
We hit narrow-stance and wide-stance leg presses to overload the quads and glutes differently, followed by leg curls and cable RDLs to hammer the hamstrings and posterior chain. Smith machine squats brought it all together with controlled depth and tension, and calf raises finished off the lower legs with volume and burn.
To cap it off, we added some grit-based conditioning by pushing the sled back and forth, adding weight each round — pure effort, no shortcuts.
Workout Focus:
• Narrow & wide stance leg press for quad and glute dominance
• Leg curls and cable RDLs for hamstring strength and balance
• Smith machine squats for controlled overload
• Calf raises for lower-leg development
• Weighted sled pushes for power, conditioning, and mental toughness
