The future has never looked so uncertain - what better time to look back? Join Design Miami 2024 Curatorial Director Glenn Adamson for the launch of his new book, A Century of Tomorrows, which looks at the fraught and fascinating history of forecasting. He’ll be joined by Crystal Williams, president at the Rhode Island School of Design, for some blue sky thinking about design as a future-facing discipline. They’ll take the long view, looking back at visionary figures of the 20th century, and also forward, with speculations about what may lie ahead - and how designers may reshape tomorrow for the better.
