Aston Martin Vantage AMR LMGT3 racing at Imola circuit

The Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo was unveiled on the same day as the Aston Martin AMR24 and succeeds the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GTE following the decision made in 2022 to develop a new GT3

The use of computational fluid dynamics has allowed for even more extreme aerodynamics. The front end has been redesigned: the grille is wider to better cool the brakes and the headlight signature has been altered. The new aerodynamics allow the car to cut through the air better. New vents on the wheel arches are noticeable, and the shortened splitter reduces pitch, improving stability. The improved aerodynamics also allow the renewed suspensions, which feature a new layout, to work well.
Other improvements include electronics and maintenance

The bodywork, created in collaboration with Prodrive and Aston Martin Performance Technologies, remains an aluminum monocoque.
The engine remains unchanged: the Mercedes-derived M177 4.0-liter 90° twin-turbo V8 with 32 valves paired with a 6-speed sequential Xtrac transmission

It debuted at the 2024 24 Hours of Daytona.
In IMSA, it won the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen in GTD Pro and the Chevrolet Grand Prix in GTD.
In the WEC, the LMGT3 version won the Lone Star Le Mans.
In June, the 007 Comtoyou Racing home team car, driven by Mattia Drudi, Marco Sørensen, and Nicki Thiim, won the 24 Hours of Spa
