In this video, I will demonstrate the power of NPM (Node Package Manager) and how you can use NPM Packages with Profound.js on your IBM i (formally the AS/400 or iSeries). I will also show you an example of how to utilize a package for OCR, or Optical Character Recognition. NPM is a repository of open source components or Packages and there are hundreds of thousands of packages that are specifically made to work with Node.js or JavaScript, which plug right into Profound.js.
