Baking Mad Monday: Cinnamon and Banana Flapjack

I love this recipe, partly because I get to use one of my favourite kitchen utensils!
I've teamed up with my friends at http://www.bakingmad.com to put together these delicious Cinnamon and Banana Flapjacks.
Ingredients:
200g unsalted butter
160g light muscovado sugar
3 1/2 tablespoons golden syrup
450g rolled oats
2 ripe banana
2tsp vanilla bean paste
2tsp ground cinnamon
3 tbp dark chocolate chips
50gr dark chocolate melted
25gr banana chips pieces
Preparation method:
Put the butter , syrup and sugar into a saucepan. Melt
together on a medium heat. Then mash the banana with the
cinnamon and add to the recipe.
Add the oats and chocolate chips make sure that they are all
covered by the mixture.
When all is done, grease a shallow baking tin, then tip in
the mixture.
Bake in a 180 C preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until
the top is golden brown. Don't over-bake.
After 25 minutes, take the flapjack out of the oven and
cut into squares .
Melt the chocolate on a pan of simmering water and
drizzle on the top of the cold flapjack using a paper cornet or
a small spoon ...sprinkle the dry banana chips on the top and
leave to set.
