VFR 800 Bearing carrier Removal

As Nice as a single sided swing arms is to look at, they are really an engineering nightmare.

In a conventional setup, you have a wheel attached to that wheel is the brake disc and drive sprocket, in the wheel you have 2 wheel bearings and the chain slack is taken up by 2 slide adjusters.

On a single side swing arm, this is not the case, you have an eccentric Hub which allows for chain adjustment.

Scarlets was a little seized on the caliper carrier But all in all relatively easy to remove, 2 Hex head bolts on the brake caliber torque bar one Circlip and hey presto out she popped
