HOW TO remove exhaust housing on HX35 TURBO

HOW TO remove exhaust housing on HX35 TURBO! I finally removed the exhaust housing on the hx35 turbo after giving it another shot. Lot of penetrating oil, heat from a torch, and a big frickin' hammer ended up getting the job done. The HX35 turbos exhaust housing is finally cracked loose and removed and we can look to film a HX35 rebuild video now for the channel. I've had the hx35 rebuild kit from Diesel Auto Power for a little bit, and feel that I should at least tear the bearing housing apart and install the rebuild kit into the HX35 to see how it turns out. I still plan to send the HX35 turbo out to Turbo Lab of America and have them machine the compressor and exhaust housings out to bigger sizes, but if we get it rebuilt then that will hopefully save them some work and save me some money. The 24 valve cummins will get a bigger turbo though, so look forward to the HX35 getting a makeover eventually, and a hx35 turbo rebuild video coming soon! I can't wait to say "so long" to the old and tired HY35 turbo that is currently on the 24 valve cummins right now.
