Alumni Spotlight - Dr. Tara Deniz

Dr. Tara Deniz I-MD, graduated Quantum University with a Doctorate and PhD in Integrative Medicine and is also a Certified Holistic Cancer Practitioner, she has built a successful wellness center in Ontario, Canda offering education programs in wellness and fitness, and cancer care programs.

At a young age, Dr. Tara Deniz was introduced to the field of medicine by her father, an anesthesiologist who researched and practiced acupuncture. He introduced her to brainwaves and hypnosis and opened her mind to the wonders of these therapies.

As Dr. Deniz continued on to study conventional medicine in University, she learned to treat disease for the symptoms however found herself questioning the lack of focus in the underlying conditions or root cause of disease. A major shift happened when she started her dissertation in conventional medicine for Immunology, researching the side affects for chemotherapy. Dr. Deniz started researching different modalities such as acupuncture, TCM, hypnotherapy and homeopathy, modalities that she did not learn at an academic level, through this research she found Quantum University.
