The End of American Reclamation’s LAUSD Contract

As of June 12, 2025, American Reclamation’s contract with some LAUSD schools in the valley has come to an unfortunate end. This means no more seeing American Reclamation’s wonderful fleet of garbage trucks for us living in the LA valley. When i saw their dumpsters rebranded to Republic, i was super shocked. I knew i wouldn’t be able to see their cool ACE Disposal FL’s, their Former BMaKK Pete’ FL, and many more of their cool trucks that were seen when they worked here in the LA valley. They signed a 3 year contract with LAUSD valley schools, starting on June 2022, to June 2025. From now on, Republic Services will be serving these schools again, as shown in this video. It’s a big shame, because Republic doesn’t have much variety when it comes to FL’s. American Reclamation has recently expanded to another school district at Newport Mesa. Good for them, i’m glad a company with a super cool fleet of trucks is going places. I still have some saved footage of some American Reclamation’s FL’s when they were still serving the LAUSD valley.
