The walk starts along the wide seafront promenade, one of the most pleasant areas of Santa Cruz. Here, locals go jogging, walk with family members or simply enjoy the open space. There is plenty of room to move freely, along with outdoor fitness equipment and safe playgrounds for children. Santa Cruz offers a lifestyle where outdoor life is part of everyday routine, supported by a warm climate and a strong sense of safety.

Although Santa Cruz is often considered part of the north of Tenerife, it actually lies more towards the south-east, and the climate reflects this perfectly. Even in winter, the temperature is mild and comfortable, making this kind of daytime walk especially enjoyable.

Modern sculptures appear along the route, adding a contemporary touch and highlighting how Santa Cruz blends tradition with modern urban design. The walk then reaches the central square, home to the Canary Government buildings and Santander’s main headquarters in the Canary Islands. During evenings, this area transforms with festive lighting, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

Inside a local venue, a Nativity scene adds a quiet and intimate Christmas detail to the walk. The video ends along a gently rising shopping street, offering a final look at Santa Cruz’s peaceful daytime rhythm.
