SWFL Eagles ~ E25 Attempts Self Feeding For 1st Time! E24 Joins! Tandem Feeding By M15 & F23! 1.8.25

It was another day of feasting for the E's with RK rabbit, a whole fish & partial fish brought in. Both E's had very full crops - but that did not stop E25 from attempting to self feed for the first time at 22 days old! E25 is seen nibbling on the leftover fish and picking up tiny bites! After a couple of minutes, E24 shows interest and comes over and joins in.

While the E's were exploring self feeding, M15 arrives to the nest with a partial fish and he begins to feed E24. F23 comes to the nest and takes the fish E25 was working on. M15 pulls up nesting all around E25. F23 feeds E24 and M15 will feed E25 -another tandem feeding in M15 & F23's cap!

M15 will also offer bites to F23 who in turn would feed E24 while M15 continued to feed E25 ♥ When they were finished, M15 flies to the pond and F23 grabs a nestover and takes it with her to the pond to eat!

We see them both at the pond getting sips - M15 comes back to the attic. F23 stays on the bank and eats her nestover and then get more sips as she wades in the water. F23 will fly to the office oak. The E's have full crops on the nest. Another day in the life of our wonderful eagle family and growing E's! Thank you for watching!
