Turning a Rusty Cleaver into Two Fantastic Axes With Bamboo Handles
In this video I turned an old cleaver into two functional axes.
The process started by cutting off the cleaver’s handle using a grinder. Then I cut the cleaver blade into two equal pieces. After heating the steel in the forge I forged both pieces into the shape of axe heads.
Once the forging was done I completed the welding and shaping process to strengthen the heads. After that I performed hardening to ensure durability and toughness. Finally I fitted both axes with strong bamboo handles and completing the project.
