Imphal Talkies has been working with children from different ethnic backgrounds of Manipur at a children’s shelter home. The project ”A Native Tongue called Peace” was started in 2015 with the children. The project aims to bridge the ethnic divisions between various communities in manipur. The project believes in nurturing the innocence of these children.
The project has taught music to the children for past seven years and almost all the children can play guitars and other music instruments. Akhu of Imphal Talkies has written five original songs with the children at the home. Forgotten Children is the fifth song we have released in this channel.
