Today, on Day 3 of my journey, I explored the historic Shey Palace, once the ancient capital of Ladakh. Located just a few kilometers from Leh, Shey Palace stands gracefully on a hilltop, offering breathtaking views of the Indus Valley and surrounding mountains.
This place is not just about architecture; it carries centuries of history, spirituality, and Ladakhi culture. Walking through its ruins, ancient rooms, and the peaceful monastery feels like traveling back in time. The calm vibes, prayer flags, and panoramic landscapes make Shey Palace a must-visit destination in Ladakh.
