​Located just above the Leh Palace, you can reach Namgyal Tsemo via a steep, winding road or by hiking the ancient stone steps from the palace. It’s a bit of a climb, but the view of the city sprawling below is worth every step!

​Season: May to September (Summer).
​Time of Day: Visit during the Golden Hour (early morning or late evening) for the most magical lighting and a peaceful atmosphere.
