Join us as we take a leisurely walk from East Beach Selsey to West Beach and back.
The morning is so peaceful and the sea almost mirror-like. The sun is barely above the horizon when we set off, casting amazing crimson hues across the sea and sky. It soon turns to a warm orange causing the fishing boats, beach and buildings to glow.
After following the beach around The Point we continue west to Medmerry with views to Hayling Island, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. The landmark Medmerry Windmill is where we turn inland, making our way through residential roads and back to the beach near the coastguard station.
A visit to Selsey beach would not be complete without a wander around the fishermen's area, with its crab pots, buoys, flags, chains and winches.
