"Winter Island Survival: Embracing the Chill with Tarp Shelters and Cozy Hot Pots"
冬が到来し、ここ宇久島も体の芯まで冷える季節がやってきました。離島は常に強風に吹き曝されている状態なので外を歩くのも厳しい状況です。こんな冬は、タープで家を作ってほっこり鍋であったまるのもいいもんですよ。「冬に負けるな!」さあ、外に出て行こう!
【たぬき鍋レシピ】
①キノコ(3種類)と長ネギを鍋いっぱい入れて、水200cc酒大さじ2みりん大さじ2で煮立てる
②鶏肉を投入し、出汁の素8g味マルジュウ大さじ3味の素7振りくらい入れもう一度煮立てる
③天かす(揚げ天)を見えなくなるまで入れて、一味(七味)をふりかけ完成
これだけです・・・
Winter has arrived, and here on Uku Island, it's the season where the chill reaches the core. Being an isolated island, constantly battered by strong winds, even walking outside becomes quite challenging. During such winters, building a home with a tarp and warming up with a cosy hot pot sounds like a great idea. 'Don't let winter defeat you!' Let's step outside, face it, and enjoy it!
[Hot pot recipe]
1. Fill the pot with three types of mushrooms and green onions; add 200 cc of water, 2 tablespoons of sake, and 2 tablespoons of mirin. Bring to a boil.
2. Add chicken, 8g of dashi stock granules, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, and about 7 shakes of Ajinomoto (MSG). Bring to another boil.
3. Add tempura scraps until the ingredients are no longer visible, sprinkle shichimi (seven-spice blend), and it's ready to serve.
