DC homeowner, accused Airbnb squatter arrive in court

A judge is expected to issue a ruling Thursday, Dec. 11, on whether the woman accused of squatting in a D.C. home can legally remain there.

The case has raised major questions about how tenant rights are defined after 30 days and could influence future rental laws in the District. City leaders say this situation exposes gaps in current regulations, as records show the accused has a long history of evictions across the DMV.
