Hidden Valley Campground is located within Joshua Tree National Park and is one of several campgrounds you can stay at.
It is one of the campgrounds located within the iconic granite boulder and Joshua Tree landscapes the park is best known for.
Out of all the campgrounds we toured, this one might be our favorite. The campsites here seem a lot more private on the average than other campgrounds like Jumbo Rocks, and the location is close to some of the parks's best sites.
There are certainly a few sites so close together you have to wonder, "why'd they do that", but other than those, this campground may be a masterpiece. We will not say for sure until we actually can spend a night here.
