Our rendition of the Latin American-inspired chant “Águila Blanca” (“The White Eagle”). This song was generously shared with us by a dear friend who first encountered it at the Moondance Festival in Switzerland. While the chant’s exact origins remain unknown, the melody is said to carry influences reminiscent of the Lakota tradition. This song felt like a breath of fresh air after singing of the deep darkness of the witch trials.
From the concert «HEX» - a musical journey through the 17th-century witch trials in Norway, featuring guest artists Anna Bariyani (Curawaka) and Lindy-Fay Hella (Wardruna). Held at Kulturkirken Jakob in Oslo on May 25th, 2025.
