I was sent a handful of unaged rum samples (thank you, Phil!!) and grouped them into grand arome rums and high ester rums. I previously tasted the grand arome/aroma grande rums ( • 3 very different GRAND AROME RUMS from Reu... ) and now it's time to taste the high ester rums! I split these 4 rums into 4 separate videos starting with Funk Drop!
Drop Works Funk Drop Rum (63% abv)
Made by Drop Works in Nottinghamshire
Fermented cane syrup for 7 days using 3 cultivated yeast strains
Distilled using double retort pot still using "muck" (distillate collected between 83-75% abv)
