The lovely Ancient Woodland drawing challenge is still ongoing (you can find it on IG). And even though I haven't had enough time to tackle each prompt individually, I very much enjoyed this condensed way to participate.
For this session I combined the prompts: deer, moss, fern, river, lichen and common ink cap.
I used Schmincke Horadam watercolors (May green, Cobalt green dark, Cobalt turquoise, Mountain blue and Payne's grey)
and Faber Castell Polychromos pencils (Earth green, Deep cobalt green, Light ultramarine, Cold grey and Indigo).
For the white details I used white calligraphic ink by Winsor&Newton.
The sketchbook is custom-made with Arches hot press paper.
