Early September we spent a great time in northern Sweden. We hiked about 200 km (125 miles) of the Kungsleden in two weeks. This is part 2, the second week, which got us from Ammarnäs to Jäckvik.
This section IV of Kungsleden has no STF cabins so we had to use our tent most of the nights. It’s also the most quiet part and we encountered only a few hikers each day. Weather can make this part harsh, but we had the most lovely weather we could wish for hiking: mild frost at nights and sunny days. And we saw northern lights!
