Just 100 km south of the Mozambican border, along South Africa’s coastline, lies Sodwana Bay, home to Africa’s southernmost tropical coral reefs and ranked among the world’s top 10 dive destinations. Here, I set out to explore its famous reefs to discover whether it truly deserves its bucket list status, all while taking my diving skills to the next level with the PADI Advanced Open Water course at Coral Divers.
