Las Teresitas Beach Walk 4K | From San Andrés Village to the Pier & Golden Sand Paradise

Join me on a full 4K walking tour from the entrance of San Andrés all the way along Las Teresitas, one of the most iconic beaches in Tenerife. We start right at the town sign of San Andrés and follow the coastal road where local cafés, Canarian bars and ice-cream shops bring out the charm of this fishing village. If you want to explore the inner streets of the town, I’ve also filmed them in a separate video on my channel.

Along the way we pass the famous painted rocks, where portraits of historic explorers appear — including Christopher Columbus, who stopped in the Canary Islands with his caravels during his voyages to the Americas. A surprising piece of history right here on the coastline.

Entering Las Teresitas, the scenery becomes almost tropical: golden sand, calm turquoise water and mountains framing the entire shoreline. It’s one of the few beaches in Tenerife with this South-American style look, thanks to sand imported decades ago to create a wide, family-friendly beach protected by breakwaters.

We then visit the fishermen’s cemetery, a unique and heartfelt place dedicated to generations of men who lived their whole lives between the sea and this village. As the walk continues, I show the full length of the beach: clear water, swimming areas, palm trees, bars and restaurants serving local favourites like langostinos, fresh fish and papas arrugadas.

Towards the end, we reach the pier, a perfect viewpoint overlooking the full curve of Las Teresitas. From here you can also see beach volleyball courts, football games and even handball matches in the shallow water — this beach is always full of life.
