Best trains as per me to reach to NJP from Kolkata-
Padatik express, Darjeeling Mail, Uttar Banga Express.
It takes around 4-5 hours to reach Maneybhanjan from NJP so try to reach NJP as early as possible. If you have plans to go further like upto Tumling you can do that too, if you reach NJP early.
Njp to Maneybhanjan reserve car 7-8 seater cost - 4000.
