Checking the knee alignment on the column. I scraped in the knee side flats on the surface plate, and reassuringly they also show about 0.0003 out of square on the column, same as on the surface plate.
But OMG the alignment about it the Y axis is BAD, 15 thou over 8”. LOL, the guide way has one point of contact 😀.
