In this video I go through the process of adjusting the limit switch box for the X-axis power feed so it doesn't interfere with the Y-axis handwheel. I also correct a defect in the Y-axis dial thumbscrew to prevent it from binding.
The G0761 is one of many milling machines with a design very similar to that of the Rong Fu "RF-45". It also has specifications very similar to the G0762 and G0755, the main differences being 1) no electronically variable speed, 2) non-motorized Z-axis and 3) no stand.
My G0761 has met my needs well. It falls into a class of 'heavy benchtop' machines between typical benchtop and knee mills. I will post a full review of my machine, as well as more significant modifications I've made to it, in subsequent videos.
I welcome any input in the comments. Are there any similar issues you've encountered with your Grizzly or Rong Fu (Precision Mathews, Charter Oaks, Industrial Hobbies, ZAY, ENCO, etc)mill?
Thanks for watching!
