Every National Park in Virginia, Explained

Virginia is home to some very famous National Park Sites: Shenandoah National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Appalachian Trail. It's also home to numerous Civil War Battlefields, such as Petersburg, Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania, and Manassas/Bull Run. Still other sites protect the homes and birthplaces of some of our most important leaders: George Washington's Birthplace, Booker T Washington's Birthplace, and Maggie L Walker's home. Overall, Virginia's 22 NPS Sites are soaked in history and tell stories from some of the most important events in American history. What was once a short-form series is now something I'm bringing long form. Enjoy!
